Lace & the Sea

Oh my goodness, it’s fall, life has been full of editorials shoots, wedding artistry & hair and commercial jobs this summer. I have lots to share with you all from beauty products I love and fashion highlights and editorial shoots. But first I wanted to start with a shoot I did early this summer.

Lace and the Sea was a beautiful shoot for Melinda Rose Design   bridal accessories 2104 collection. She creates such delicate and beautiful pieces to fit every kind of bride. Her collection is a must see. We gathered at the sea at Hug point, which is super gorgeous place to shoot on the Oregon Coast.

I always enjoy working with Photographer Erich McVey  his style is perfectly displayed in all his images as flawless with a perfect finish. The images are always so magical to see after the day of creating and collaboration, I think these are my favorite yet.

For the makeup and hair look we were inspired by the French women and their effortless but still intentional beauty. So I created a very soft natural look for our beautiful model Meredith Adelle focusing on a luminescent complexion with a soft smoky berry eye and stained lip and changed the hair to achieve beachy waves to braided up do’s for a very romantic vibe to fit Melinda incredible head pieces.

I love flowers & Decor I really can’t get enough its in my DNA my mom was a interior designer in Chicago and that definitely rubbed off on me.

Thank goodness!

Peonies are my favorite flower, check out Espefloral flower cart in  NW Food Front in Portland for some of the prettiest flowers this Spring. I just adore this estate sale mirror reflection on my kitchen table with these fantastic crystal glass candle holders from Grants mom from Anthropologie and a bouquet of fresh flowers.
